Jakob Lutz is a long snapper for the Minnesota Golden Gophers. The Peachtree City, Georgia native attended McIntosh High School, where he wore No. 75 and was coached by Derek Smith. He was rated as a five-star recruit and ranked No. 17 at his position by Kohl's Kicking. Lutz also competed in baseball in high school. He is in his second year at Minnesota as a redshirt freshman and has earned one letter with the program. During the 2025 season, he redshirted and did not see game action.
