Daniel Shipp is a redshirt freshman right tackle for Minnesota who stands 6'5" and weighs 280 pounds. The native of Eastvale, California, attended Centennial High School in Corona, where he wore No. 51 and was coached by Matt Logan. As a senior, he helped his team achieve a 9-3 record with a No. 14 state ranking according to MaxPrep, though he missed his junior and sophomore seasons due to injury. Shipp enrolled at Minnesota in January 2025 as a consensus three-star recruit, receiving a No. 78 ranking among offensive tackles nationally from recruiting services. He did not see game action during the 2025 season.
