Daniel Jackson is a placekicker for the Minnesota Golden Gophers. A native of Alexandria, Minnesota, Jackson attended Alexandria Area High School, where he finished his career with 195 points on 21 field goals and 132 point-after attempts. As a senior, he made a 44-yard field goal in the Class AAAAA state championship game, setting a Prep Bowl record, and connected on 63-of-64 point-after attempts. Jackson made his Minnesota debut against Northwestern State in 2025, converting 2 extra points and kicking off three times. He returns to the program as a redshirt freshman.
