Angel Luciano is a linebacker for the Minnesota Golden Gophers. The 6'1", 210-pound true freshman from Steelton, Pennsylvania, attended Steelton-Highspire High School, where he wore No. 7 and served as team captain under coach Andrew Erby. Luciano earned All-State honors twice and All-Conference recognition three times. His high school team won two Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association state championships and four district championships. A consensus three-star recruit, he was ranked as the No. 26 recruit in Pennsylvania by recruiting services and the No. 49 linebacker nationally by national outlets.
