Sawyer Lovvorn is a tight end for the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders standing 6'0" and weighing 224 pounds. A native of Shelbyville, Tennessee, Lovvorn attended Cascade High School, where he lettered in football, basketball, and baseball. In his high school career, he rushed for 1,650 yards and had 28 receptions for 360 yards while recording 23 total touchdowns. He was named Region 4-2A Offensive Player of the Year in 2023 and earned three all-region selections. Lovvorn redshirted during his 2024 freshman season. In 2025, he appeared in all 12 games, logging 90 snaps exclusively on special teams and earning multiple scout team player-of-the-week honors.
