Peter Costelli is a graduate-transfer quarterback from Northern Colorado, standing 6'3" and weighing 222 pounds. The San Pedro, California native was a four-star recruit and the No. 27 overall quarterback in the 2021 class. At Mission Viejo High School, he completed 136 of 248 passes for 1,992 yards with 23 touchdowns and five interceptions as a junior, also rushing for 354 yards and four touchdowns. After redshirting at Utah and spending time at Troy, Costelli played three seasons at Northern Colorado. In 2025, he appeared in four games, completing 22 of 39 passes for 272 yards and one touchdown while adding 74 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown on 16 carries.
