Malik Love is an outside linebacker for Middle Tennessee standing 6'4" and weighing 227 pounds. A native of McDonough, Georgia, Love lettered in football, basketball, and track at Ola High School, where he recorded 28 tackles, 3.0 sacks, and 7.0 tackles for loss during his senior season. He redshirted in 2024 after not appearing in any games. As a redshirt sophomore in 2025, Love played in six games and appeared on special teams (43 snaps) and defense (24 snaps), posting one tackle total for the season, which came in a victory over NMSU.
