At Trinity Valley, he recorded 12 receptions for 89 yards and a touchdown across two seasons. In 2025, Hambrick caught nine passes for 67 yards and a score, earning honorable mention all-conference recognition. The 6'6" native of Tyler, Texas, lettered in both football and basketball at Tyler Legacy High School, where he also received honorable mention all-conference honors in football.
