Felix Hixon is a 6'1", 306-pound nose tackle from Jackson, Georgia who transferred to Middle Tennessee after three seasons at South Carolina. Originally enrolled at South Carolina in January 2022 and redshirted his freshman year, Hixon did not appear in games during the 2022 and 2023 seasons. In 2024, his redshirt-sophomore year, he played in 11 games and recorded eight total tackles across 31 snaps at Ole Miss, 16 snaps against WKU, and 15 snaps in a victory over Tennessee Tech. During the 2025 season, Hixon appeared in all 12 games with one start at WKU, finishing with eight total tackles in 136 snaps and earning a season-high grade of 76.8 in a win over NMSU.
