Smith Snowden is a nickel back from Lehi, Utah who attended Skyridge High School, where he was a three-time first-team All-State selection and 2022 Deseret News Mr. Football award winner. He spent three seasons at Utah (2023–25), earning three varsity letters across 36 games with 24 starts. On defense, he totaled 92 tackles, 6.0 for loss, four interceptions, and 25 pass breakups while also forcing one fumble. As a junior in 2025, Snowden started all 13 games, recording 37 tackles including 2.0 for loss and two interceptions among 11 pass breakups. He earned Paul Hornung Award National Player of the Week honors following his performance against UCLA. Snowden now joins Michigan as a transfer for the 2026 season.
