Lugard Edokpayi is a 6'7", 250-pound edge rusher from Bowie, Maryland, who attended Bishop McNamara High School. A four-star recruit in the 2024 class, he redshirted his freshman year at Michigan in 2024 before appearing in eight games as a sophomore in 2025, primarily at edge and on special teams. He earned Academic All-Big Ten honors and his first varsity letter after contributing across eight contests including matchups against New Mexico, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Washington, Central Michigan, Purdue, Maryland, and Texas.
