John Henry Daley is a 6'4", 255-pound right defensive end from Alpine, Utah who played college football at Utah, BYU, and now transfers to Michigan as a redshirt junior. Daley spent two seasons at BYU (2023-24) before joining Utah in 2025, where he earned first-team All-American honors from the Walter Camp Football Foundation. In 11 games and starts at Utah, he recorded 48 tackles, 17.5 tackles for loss, and 11.5 sacks while also forcing two fumbles and breaking up one pass. He was named a semifinalist for the Chuck Bednarik Award and a quarterfinalist for the Lott IMPACT Trophy. Daley enters his sixth season of eligibility with the Wolverines.
