James Kavouklis is an offensive lineman from Tampa, Florida, who attended Berkeley Prep before joining Michigan. At Berkeley Prep, he earned four varsity letters in football and three in basketball, serving as team captain. He was named Florida Class 3A All-State first team and competed in the Georgia vs. Florida Showcase game. At Michigan, Kavouklis made his collegiate debut as a center against UConn on Sept. 17, 2022, earning his first varsity letter that season. He appeared in one game at center against Central Michigan on Sept. 13, 2025, to earn his second letter. He is a three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree (2023–25).
