Eli Owens is a tight end from Alcoa, Tennessee, standing 6'1" and weighing 244 pounds. He attended Alcoa High School, where he was a multi-sport athlete and two-way contributor for the Tornadoes. As a senior in 2024, Owens recorded 315 receiving yards and four touchdowns while also posting 72 percent of the team's rushing yards as a lead blocker. He earned a three-star recruiting rating and was ranked 562nd nationally. At Michigan, Owens appeared in two games during his 2025 freshman season, making his collegiate debut against Central Michigan on September 13 and contributing on special teams against Texas in the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl. He earned a letter as a true freshman.
