Bio

C.J. Charleston, a 6'0" wide receiver from Cleveland, Ohio, played high school football at Gilmour Academy before attending Youngstown State. Over four seasons with the Penguins, he appeared in 32 games with 23 starts, recording 61 receptions for 867 yards and four touchdowns. His 2023 campaign included 33 catches for 467 yards and four scores across 13 starts. Charleston transferred to Michigan for the 2024 season, appearing in 10 games with two starts. He caught his first pass as a Wolverine on September 7 against Texas for 22 yards and recovered a fumble on special teams. Charleston earned Academic All-Big Ten honors in 2025 and did not see game action that season.
