Jonathan Granby is a safety for Michigan State, wearing number 17. The Alpharetta, Georgia native played both quarterback and defensive back at Fellowship Christian School, where he compiled 934 rushing yards and over 2,500 total offensive yards with 35 touchdowns during his senior season. He recorded 75 tackles and five pass break-ups that year and earned All-Region Player of the Year honors. Granby holds school records for career scoring and passing touchdowns. As a junior in 2024, he was named Georgia High School Football Daily Week 1 Player of the Week after posting 128 passing yards, two passing touchdowns, 119 rushing yards, and two rushing touchdowns against Bowdon. He enrolled at Michigan State in January 2026.
