DiMari Malone is a redshirt freshman linebacker for Michigan State from Macomb Township, Michigan. He enrolled in January 2025 and competed in spring practice before redshirting his first season. At Dakota High School, Malone was ranked the No. 1 inside linebacker in Michigan by national outlets and earned first-team all-state honors. He recorded 53 tackles with 11 tackles for loss, three sacks, and nine quarterback hurries on defense, while adding 32 rushing carries for 350 yards and seven touchdowns.
