Darrin Jones Jr. is a running back from Lake Orion, Michigan, who attended Orchard Lake St. Mary's. As a senior in 2024, he rushed for 1,281 yards and 13 touchdowns on 161 carries while accumulating 1,600 all-purpose yards. He compiled seven 100-yard rushing games and rushed for 181 yards with two touchdowns in the MHSAA Division 2 state championship game victory. Jones made his collegiate debut for Michigan State against Maryland in 2025, appearing on eight special teams plays while preserving his redshirt status by playing in one game. He earned Scout Team Player of the Week honors twice during his freshman season.
