Cam Edwards is a transfer running back who joined Michigan State in January 2026 after completing four seasons at UConn (2022-25). At the high school level, the Norwalk, Connecticut native finished with 2,349 rushing yards on 283 carries and 35 touchdowns. During his final season at UConn in 2025, Edwards earned third-team Group of Five All-American honors, posting career highs of 1,240 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns while also recording 19 receptions for 187 yards. Over his full UConn career, he accumulated 2,690 rushing yards on 480 carries with 27 touchdowns and 35 receptions for 467 yards across 36 games. Edwards ranked in multiple UConn record books, including tied for first in yards per attempt at 5.6 and fifth in career rushing yards.
