Andrew Brinson IV is a cornerback for Michigan State at 6'1" and 186 pounds. A native of Tampa, Florida, he attended Gaither High School, where he played both defensive back and wide receiver and helped the Cowboys reach the FHSAA Class 3M state tournament semifinals. Brinson made his collegiate debut against Prairie View A&M on September 14, 2024, and appeared in five games as a freshman, recording his first collegiate tackle against Ohio State while playing 15 snaps. He logged 59 total defensive snaps across contests against Ohio State, Oregon, Purdue, and Rutgers, with a season-high 21 snaps in the regular-season finale. He missed the entire 2025 season due to injury and returns to the team as a redshirt sophomore.
