Xavier Lucas is a 6'2", 198-pound right cornerback for the Miami Hurricanes who transferred from Wisconsin. Originally a four-star recruit from American Heritage High School in Pompano Beach, Florida, Lucas appeared in 11 games as a true freshman at Wisconsin in 2024, tallying 18 tackles and recording one interception. In his first season with Miami in 2025, he appeared in all 16 games with 13 starts, accumulating 45 total tackles (30 solo), two tackles for loss, one sack, one interception, and a team-high eight pass breakups. He recorded multiple double-digit tackle performances, including six stops against SMU and season-high marks across multiple contests.
