Ryan Rodriguez, a 6'2", 300-pound center from Miami, Florida, joined the Hurricanes as a true freshman in 2021 and appeared in one game against Central Connecticut State. After redshirting in 2022 due to offseason surgery recovery, he saw action in six games during 2023, including his first career start at center in the Pinstripe Bowl against Rutgers. Rodriguez started the 2024 season opener against Florida but suffered a season-ending injury that sidelined him for the final 12 games.
