Mohamed Toure is a 6'2", 235-pound linebacker from Pleasantville, New Jersey, who transferred to Miami as a seventh-year graduate student in 2025. He spent his first six years at Rutgers, where he appeared in 37 games and recorded 168 total tackles, 22.5 tackles for loss, and 13.5 sacks before missing the 2022 and 2024 seasons due to injury. His 2023 campaign under current Miami defensive coordinator Corey Hetherman yielded 93 tackles and 9.5 tackles for loss. In his first season with the Hurricanes, Toure started all 16 games and led the team with 84 total tackles (38 solo), adding three tackles for loss, two sacks, and six pass breakups while earning All-ACC Honorable Mention honors.
