Max Buchanan is a right guard for the Miami Hurricanes. The 6'4", 310-pound sophomore from Sanford, Florida, was a four-star recruit in the 2025 class, ranked No. 134 nationally by Rivals and No. 4 among guards by that outlet. During his 2025 true freshman season, Buchanan appeared in five games as a reserve offensive lineman, including action in wins over Bethune-Cookman on September 6, USF on September 13, Stanford on October 25, Syracuse on November 8, and NC State on November 15.
