Max Buchanan is a right guard for the Miami Hurricanes. The 6'4", 310-pound sophomore from Sanford, Florida, was a four-star recruit in the 2025 class, ranked No. 134 nationally by Rivals and No. 4 among guards by that outlet. During his 2025 true freshman season, Buchanan appeared in five games as a reserve offensive lineman, including action in wins over Bethune-Cookman on September 6, USF on September 13, Stanford on October 25, Syracuse on November 8, and NC State on November 15. He recorded his first collegiate appearance and most extensive playing time against Bethune-Cookman.
