As a true freshman in 2023, he appeared in all 13 games and averaged 43.8 yards on 43 punts while landing 15 inside the opponent's 20-yard line. In 2024, his sophomore season, he averaged 42.5 yards on 25 punts with a long of 53 yards. During the 2025 season, Joyce served as the team's starting punter for the third consecutive year, averaging 44.4 yards per punt on 54 attempts with a season-long of 73 yards.
