A redshirt senior from Fort Lauderdale, Florida who attended Cardinal Gibbons High School, Moten was a three-star recruit in the 2022 class with a rating of 0.8811 and ranking of 558 nationally. In 2025, he recorded 31 total tackles, 20 solo tackles, 9.0 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, and 4 quarterback hurries. Moten returns to Miami for the upcoming season.
