Scoop Smith is a 5'5", 150-pound wide receiver from Pittsburgh, PA who attended Woodland Hills High School under coach Brian Tarrant. Smith earned all-state honors as both a junior and senior and served as team captain. He was named Pennsylvania's player of the year in 2024 and 2025. During his junior season, Smith recorded 50 receptions and 19 touchdowns. In 2025, he posted 57 catches and 23 touchdowns while setting school records for career receptions and receiving yards. Smith, a three-star recruit ranked 2163 overall in the 2026 class, joined Miami (OH) as a true freshman wearing number 24.
