Mychal Yharbrough is a 6'2", 199-pound left cornerback from Belleville, Michigan, where he graduated from Belleville High School as a team captain. He was a three-star recruit in the 2023 class. In his freshman year (2023), Yharbrough appeared in nine games and recorded four tackles. He played in seven games in 2024 with four starts before missing time with an injury, finishing with 23 tackles and a forced fumble. In 2025, his breakout season, Yharbrough played in all 14 games with 10 starts, recording 47 tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, four pass breakups, and one fumble recovery. He notched eight tackles in a win at Buffalo and seven tackles in the MAC Championship Game against WMU. Yharbrough is currently a senior majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
