Malcolm McCain is a redshirt junior linebacker for Miami (OH) who attended Brookwood High School in Snellville, Georgia. McCain redshirted in 2023 before appearing in 11 games in 2024, recording 14 tackles with a career-best five in a win over Kent State and earning Academic All-MAC honors. In 2025, he played all 14 games with eight starts, accumulating 73 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, and 2.0 sacks while forcing a fumble. He recorded a season-best 13 tackles against Fresno State in the Snoop Dogg Arizona Bowl and added sacks against Western Michigan and Eastern Michigan.
