Amariyun Knighten is a 6'0", 174-pound defensive back from Hollywood, Florida, who attended Deerfield Beach High School. A three-star prospect in the 2022 recruiting class, Knighten initially played at Indiana before transferring to Northern Illinois, where he appeared in 27 career games with 13 starts from 2022-24. He made his collegiate debut at Kentucky on September 24, 2022, and earned his first start against Ball State on October 1, 2022. In 2024, Knighten recorded his first collegiate interception against Notre Dame on September 7, setting up the game-winning field goal for NIU. He now transfers to Miami (OH) as a redshirt senior.
