Parker Mitchell is a right guard who transfers to Memphis from Richmond as a redshirt senior. The 6'3", 299-pound lineman from Alabaster, Alabama appeared in 27 games for the Spiders, with 23 starts between 2022 and 2024. During his tenure, Mitchell's unit helped Richmond achieve 2,527 rushing yards (second in the CAA) and 4,945 total offensive yards. He contributed to Zach Palmer-Smith's 1,000-yard rushing season in 2023, the first Spider to reach that mark since 2015. Mitchell earned preseason and postseason All-CAA Fourth Team honors in 2023 and was ranked as a three-star transfer by recruiting services.
