Chase Pinkston is a safety from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, who attended Oak Grove High School under head coach Drew Causey. At Oak Grove, he recorded 75 tackles and three interceptions while helping the Warriors to a 13-1 record and MHSAA 7A State Championship. He earned honors graduate status and received recognition as a 3-star prospect ranked No. 45 in Mississippi by recruiting services. Pinkston played the 2024 season at Jones College, where he appeared in nine games with 26 tackles (14 solo), three interceptions (95 return yards), and one fumble recovery. He transfers to Memphis as a redshirt sophomore.
