Romando Johnson is a 6'3", 245-pound defensive end from Lauderhill, FL, who attended Monarch High School. A three-star recruit, Johnson was ranked as the No. 92 overall recruit in Florida by national outlets and the No. 76 overall recruit in the state by Rivals. As a senior, he recorded 36 tackles including 19 solo, 15 tackles for loss, seven sacks for 27 yards, 16 QB hurries, and one forced fumble, helping Monarch reach the Regional Semifinals with a 7-4 record. Johnson transferred to Massachusetts after spending the Spring 2025 semester at West Virginia and saw action in one game during the 2025 season, making his debut against NIU on November 12.
