Kai Owens is a 6'2" wide receiver from Carpentersville, Illinois, who attended Carmel Catholic High School. A recruiting services three-star recruit, he ranked No. 37 among Illinois prospects. Over four varsity seasons, Owens recorded 1,628 receiving yards and 106 receptions with 17 touchdowns. As a senior, he posted 825 yards on 44 catches with 10 touchdowns and added one 23-yard rushing touchdown. Owens joined Massachusetts as a true freshman and wears No. 21 for the Minutemen.
