Jose Touron is a safety for the Massachusetts Minutemen. The 5'10", 185-pound redshirt sophomore from Taunton, MA attended Taunton High School, where he played wide receiver and safety. In his prep career, Touron recorded 506 yards on 32 receptions with four touchdowns, including a 78-yard catch and three touchdowns as a senior. He also rushed nine times for 30 yards with one touchdown and threw one pass for 33 yards and a touchdown. Defensively, he compiled 22 tackles (10 solo, 12 assisted) across seven games, adding an interception and two fumble recoveries. Touron appeared in one game for UMass as a freshman in 2024 and saw action in one game during the 2025 redshirt freshman season.
