CJ Amobi is a defensive lineman for the Massachusetts Minutemen. The 6'3", 235-pound true freshman from Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, attended Monsignor Bonner High School, where he was a recruiting services three-star recruit ranked No. 56 in Pennsylvania. As a junior, Amobi recorded 70 tackles including 43 solo, 23 tackles for loss, eight sacks, three pass breakups, and one touchdown while helping Monsignor Bonner win the PIAA 4A State Football Championship.
