CJ Amobi is a defensive lineman for the Massachusetts Minutemen. The 6'3", 235-pound true freshman from Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, attended Monsignor Bonner High School, where he was a recruiting services three-star recruit ranked No. 56 in Pennsylvania. As a junior, Amobi recorded 70 tackles including 43 solo, 23 tackles for loss, eight sacks, three pass breakups, and one touchdown while helping Monsignor Bonner win the PIAA 4A State Football Championship. He earned First Team All-Catholic honors as a senior after totaling 50-plus tackles, one interception, and one fumble recovery.
