Lavon Johnson is a 6'2", 310-pound defensive tackle from Allentown, PA, who attended Cheshire Academy. Johnson initially played for Texas in 2025, appearing in six games including contests against Sam Houston State, Oklahoma, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, and Arkansas, recording two tackles in his debut. He transferred to Maryland, where he logged 18 appearances across 2023-24, accumulating 19 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and one sack. During the 2024 season, Johnson posted 14 tackles and 0.5 TFL in eight games while managing injuries, with a season-high six solo tackles versus Iowa on 11/11/24.
