EJ Moore Jr. is a linebacker from Decatur, GA who transferred to Maryland from Western Carolina. As a 2024 freshman, he appeared in all 12 games for the Catamounts and recorded 18 tackles, three tackles for loss, and four quarterback hurries while earning Phil Steele FCS Freshman All-American honors. He also recovered a fumble after a blocked field goal for a touchdown against Campbell. At Columbia High School in 2023, Moore posted 63 tackles including 24.5 tackles for loss and six sacks. In 2025, his first season at Maryland, he saw action in 11 of 12 games and posted seven tackles.
