Malik Elzy is a 6'2" wide receiver from Chicago who played three seasons at Illinois before joining LSU as a transfer. A four-star recruit in the Class of 2023, he appeared in 23 games for the Illini with one start against Western Illinois in 2025. Across his time at Illinois, Elzy caught 16 passes for 213 yards and two touchdowns, including scoring receptions against Penn State in 2023 and Eastern Illinois in 2024. He earned Academic All-Big Ten honors in 2024. Elzy played in four games during the 2025 season, recording 7 catches for 84 yards before leaving the team following the Indiana game to preserve his redshirt eligibility.
