The 6'1", 224-pound specialist from Scottsdale, Arizona, redshirted during the 2025 season with the Gators without appearing in games. At Horizon High School, Mulhern earned recognition as a 5-star recruit and ranked No. 2 at his position according to Kohl's Kicking, while national outlets tabbed him No. 2 among long snappers nationally and No. 32 overall in Arizona.
