Jaylen Brown is a 6'6", 270-pound edge rusher from Madison, Alabama who attended James Clemens High School. A four-year letterwinner, he earned four-star ratings and was ranked among the nation's top defensive prospects before signing with Missouri. Brown appeared in five games as a true freshman at Missouri in 2024, recording solo tackles in contests against Murray State and South Carolina while playing 39 defensive snaps. He transferred to South Carolina in spring 2025 but suffered an injury during spring practice and missed the entire season. Brown joined LSU in January 2026 as a redshirt sophomore with three years of eligibility remaining.
