Darrin Strey is a 6'7", 314-pound right tackle from Paw Paw, Michigan, who transferred to LSU from Kentucky. A four-star recruit ranked No. 448 nationally in the 2025 class, Strey redshirted as a true freshman at Kentucky in 2025 after appearing in 4 games and recording 18 offensive snaps at right tackle. He made his collegiate debut against Eastern Michigan, playing 2 snaps. At Paw Paw High School, Strey was a four-year starter under his father Dennis, recording 102 pin blocks, 59 tackles, and 21.0 tackles for loss as a senior while earning first-team All-State honors for Division 4. He also competed in track and field, earning all-state recognition in both 2023 and 2024.
