Tyler Folmar is a left guard from Cantonment, FL, who attended Tate High School. A three-star recruit, Folmar was rated as the No. 165 interior offensive lineman nationally by recruiting services and received offers from Louisiana, Southern Miss, Chattanooga and The Citadel. As a senior in 2024, he recorded 16 pancake blocks across eight games and was named a Pensacola News Journal Super Senior, helping Tate to a 7-4 record, its best since 2017. Folmar made his collegiate debut for Louisville against Eastern Kentucky in 2025.
