Payton Cook is a 6'1", 190-pound wide receiver from Akron, Ohio, who attended Archbishop Hoban High School. A consensus three-star recruit, Cook was ranked as the No. 67 wide receiver nationally by recruiting services and received rankings from multiple outlets including No. 548 by Rivals and No. 98 by national outlets. At Archbishop Hoban, he played both wide receiver and quarterback, recording 21 career interceptions across his time with the program. Cook committed to Louisville over Kentucky, Miami, Indiana, Michigan, Pitt, Purdue, Tennessee, and Wisconsin. He currently serves as a true freshman for the Cardinals.
