Koen Entringer is a safety from Walled Lake, Michigan, who transferred to Louisville from Iowa. At Walled Lake Western, he earned first-team all-state honors as a senior and recorded 88 tackles with three tackles for loss and 11 pass break-ups. Entringer played four seasons at Iowa, lettering in 2023, 2024, and 2025. In 2025, he started all 13 games at strong safety, recording 73 tackles (43 solo, 30 assists), 3.5 tackles for loss, four pass break-ups, one forced fumble, and one recovered fumble. He was named a permanent team captain on defense and earned Honorable mention All-Big Ten honors from coaches.
