Carson Hilbert is a placekicker for the Louisville Cardinals. The 6'3", 215-pound redshirt freshman from Trinity High School in Louisville, Kentucky, made his collegiate debut in 2025 against Eastern Kentucky, handling two kickoffs. At Trinity, Hilbert was named first-team All-State by the Courier-Journal and became the fourth specialist in school history to earn that honor. He connected on 12 of 14 field goals, including a school-record 55-yard field goal, and converted 47 of 48 point-after-touchdown attempts. As a junior, he averaged 41.2 yards per punt and logged 69 touchbacks. Hilbert's father, John, kicked for the Cardinals in the late 1990s, recording 22 career field goal attempts.
