Chase Edwards is a nose tackle for Louisiana from Houston, Texas, where he attended Cy Falls High School. A three-star recruit rated as the No. 77 defensive lineman in Texas, Edwards chose the Ragin' Cajuns over offers from Tulane and Western Kentucky. He redshirted during his 2023 freshman season. In 2024, Edwards appeared in 12 games as a reserve defensive lineman, recording eight tackles with 0.5 tackles for loss and a 10-yard sack against App State. He currently returns to the roster as a redshirt junior.
