Zachary Jackson is a defensive back for Louisiana Tech standing 5'10" and weighing 170 pounds. The Monroe, Louisiana native attended Ouachita Parish High School, where he competed at quarterback and defensive back. As a junior, Jackson carried the ball 132 times for 759 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 68-of-133 passes with 11 touchdowns. He earned Second Team All-District recognition at quarterback as a sophomore and Honorable Mention All-District honors as a senior. Jackson also participated in track and field. He redshirted during his freshman year in 2024 and did not see game action as a redshirt sophomore in 2025. Jackson has been named to the CUSA Commissioner's Honor Roll in 2025 and 2026.
