Talyn Shettron is a 6'2" receiver from Edmond, Oklahoma who arrived at Louisiana Tech as a transfer from Oklahoma State. A four-star prospect in the 2022 recruiting class, he enrolled early and spent his first two seasons with the Cowboys. In 2024, Shettron appeared in nine games with one start, recording 12 catches for 245 yards and a touchdown. He hauled in a 78-yard touchdown against Tulsa that doubled as Oklahoma State's longest play of the season and posted a career-high 110 receiving yards in that same game. A shoulder injury caused him to miss the entire 2025 season.
