Kaegan Kent is a placekicker for Louisiana Tech who hails from Shreveport, Louisiana, where he attended Evangel Christian Academy. As a high school senior, he made 6 of 8 field goal attempts and 55 of 59 PATs while earning First Team All-District honors. Kent appeared in the final three games of the 2025 season, converting 2 of 2 field goal attempts with a long of 42 yards and 9 of 9 extra points for 15 total points. He made both field goals in the Independence Bowl victory over Coastal Carolina on December 3.
